Welcome to My Collection of Free Code Projects
I’m a self-taught, hobby programmer and now that I’m retired, I’m once again following my passion: creating practical, beginner-friendly apps that help me manage everyday tasks.
I learned by tweaking existing, working code, adjusting things to my liking, breaking things, fixing them again, and slowly building my coding skills. So now, I’m sharing my code with those who want to learn the way I did.
Think of it this way:
If you buy a frozen pizza and bake it at home… did you make the pizza?
Kind of. You didn’t start from scratch, but you played an important part in turning it into something enjoyable, and maybe you even added a few extra toppings along the way.
It’s the same idea here: I’ve done the “from scratch” part for you, and now it’s your turn to bake it. You’re free to edit, customize, and learn from these projects, just like I once did.
Although I use GhostBSD for my development work, all the code and instructions featured here are cross-platform. You can follow along on Windows, macOS and Linux.
