Your iPad could not be activated because the activation server id temporarily unavailable.

When I got an iPad, I took advantage of a reasonably priced data plan by a local telecom but canceled it when I got the iPhone because iOS5 can act as a hotspot which makes it unnecessary to have both.

Eventually, I forgot about

the little 3G chip which was left inside and now, that I can not activate the iPad, it seems that the culprit is just that. 

I hope I find someone who has the tool to pull the littler sucker because I really miss my iPad.

ipad can not activateOuch, my iPad doesn't want to come back to life. Considering how much this device costs and how popular it is one must wonder what is going on with the Apple server :( I am restoring from a previous backup right now ....

I wish I could explain "why" this thing wasn't able to find the Apple server but in the end, it took a restore to get my iPad back.
I begun to miss having it around because it is such a handy gadget.
Now all is well again but "Thank you" Apple. No more betas.
My time is too valuable for the little advantages early beta releases offer.
